Managing the news section

Step 1 Creation of a news item
  • Click on "Create" in the news section
  • The page "Country X - Add a news" comes up.
  • Fill in the fields and tick the box "Show on main page"
  • Click on "Submit"
  • Click on "go back" on the page that reads "operation successful"

NB: Non-administrators must wait for their news to be validated by the administrator before being able to post it on the country profile page. However, their news will be visible in the list of news related to the country.

 

Step 2 Addition of an existing news item to the list of country news
  • Click on "Add a news"
  • Click on "Consult the News archive"
  • Select the desired country
  • Tick the box next to the desired news item
  • Click on "Add"
  • The message "operation successful" comes up
  • Click on "Go back"

 

Step 3 Displaying an existing news item on the Country Page
  • Click on "See all" in the News section
  • Click on "Edit" next to the chosen news item
  • Tick the box "Show on main page"

NB: No more than 3 news items can be displayed on the country page.

 

Step 4 Consulting the list of existing news and the news archive
  • Click on "See All" in the news section
  • The page "Country X - List of news" comes up. From there, use the options in the top right hand corner to consult the news archive, search for news or add news.
