Organisational Structure
FIRST BOD
The persons named in the Article of Association of the Company shall be the first members of the Board of Directors and they shall hold office, provisionally, for a Period of one year or up to the date of the first annual general meeting, whichever is earlier.
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The Board of Directors will be the final decision maker for all the affairs of the company. The Board of directors will be elected among the members of CLASS as per the laid criteria of membership. Unless otherwise determined by the Company in a general meeting, the number of members of the Boards shall not be less than five and not more than twelve. At every annual general meeting of the Board, one-third members of the state level Board shall retire from office, but shall be eligible for re-election at the same meeting.
SECRETARIAT
The Central office will have a secretariat that would be a set of technical departments for operationalising the activities of CLASS and would support state chapters in the development of social security systems. The secretariat would be led by a Chief Operating Officer (COO) who may also be elected as the Managing Director/s of the company. The secretariat will support projects as launched by members within the guidelines finalized by the BOD and will be led by the project / dept. heads reporting to the COO.
ADVISORY PANEL
An advisory panel constituting of Associate members, invitees will be setup to guide and facilitate the central level body. This would primarily deal on technical and financial inputs and resources.
