User survey statistics and comments

Remarks on comments we received during the survey: 

• In terms of training GESS already offers a range of information about seminars and courses related to social security, cash transfers etc. You can access this information by clicking on the News tab or you can subscribe to G-News or to Info-Gess to receive regularly our selection of events and news (from Show/edit my profile go to the tab 'Registration'). Concerning the newsletter: we stopped sending it with attached pdf documents in order to avoid blocking of e-mails. However, if you wish to receive it in this way, please write a short e-mail to the administration (gess@ilo.org ).
   
• We want to mention that one of the aims of the platform is to facilitate the exchange of information and ideas, capture and document experiences, identify knowledge gaps, create new knowledge and promote innovation. Therefore, GESS relies on the contributions of its users. Do not hesitate to subscribe to GESS if you have not done so already and we welcome any suggestions, comments, resources etc. Although we recognize and appreciate every relevant contribution, it may be possible that some of them will escape our attention.
   
• In terms of content, GESS treats the subject of micro insurance only marginally as one of many ways to extend social security. For more detailed information we recommend to consult the platforms GIMI (at global level) and La Concertation (in Africa).
   
• The numerous resources that are available on GESS have many different origins and languages. It is beyond our means to translate all of them in three languages (English, French and Spanish). Normally we provide the summaries of the documents with the most general interest in all three languages.
