national income
ingreso nacional,
revenu national
National income Aggregate income produced by the citizens of a country irrespective of whether the production takes place within or outside the country’s boundaries, as opposed to ‘‘domestic’’ income, which is produced by the inhabitants of a country within the country’s boundaries. For example, the earned income of a Belgian working in Luxembourg increases the national income of Belgium but the domestic income of Luxembourg. [ref. 8030]

newly-awarded benefits

Benefits that have been newly granted during the reporting year. Applied to long-term benefits, the term distinguishes benefits newly awarded during the reporting period from those granted and ongoing prior to the start of the reporting year. [ref. 6622]

Benefit that is granded on the basis of contributory periods or other rights, etc.; eligibility is not dependent on an assessment of the beneficiary's means (i.e income, capital earnings...). [ref. 6622]

Non-financial assets comprising tangible non-produced assets ( land underlying buldings and stuctures, land under cultivation, recreational and other land and associated surface water, coal, oil and natural gas and mineral and non-miniral reserves, biological and water rsources), and intengible non-produced assets (patented entities, leases and other transferable contracts, purchased goodwill and other intangible assets). Non-funded scheme which uses the formula of a defined-contribution scheme as a benefit formula without accumulating the amount of reserves actually required to back up all entitlements. [ref. 8030]

numerical deductible
franchise en nombre
A benefit in which 100 per cent of health expenses are covered, minus a specified number of sessions, cases or days, the cost of which is always borne by the member.
Example: A "Hospital accommodation" benefit covers 100 per cent of expenses incurred, excluding the first day of hospitalization, which is never covered. If the patient is hospitalized for three days, the expenses corresponding to the first day are borne entirely by the member, while the second and third days are covered by the health micro-insurance scheme.
